Good size bedroom, great location for night bazaar and river, reasonable price. Walking distance to night market, food, and east wall. Large, dark room with cold air conditioning. Wonderful hosts, very helpful and cordial. Close to River Ping and many restaurants with great Thai food. Freshly cut fruit for breakfast, familiar atmosphere, comfy bed, fast wifi internet. Impressed with owner, goes above and beyond with hospitality, helps with questions and plans.

I had a Pleasant Surprise at VP! When we arrived, the entrance wasn't inviting and a bit hard to find. But, Bee greeted us with a warm smile and had everything ready for us upstairs. The stairs were a challenge for my older brother and his wife, but Bee had their bags carried up without hesitation. The rooms may not have been updated, but they were clean and had everything we needed. The real standout was Bee and her staff. They genuinely cared about our well-being, going above and beyond to help us. The AC and ceiling fans kept us cool, the shower was hot, and the breakfast had a great variety. The location was convenient, close to markets and activities. Plus, they even held our bags until our taxi arrived. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at VP. I highly recommend it.
Despite the positives, there were a few minor drawbacks. The room had some mold on the ceiling and shower curtain, which was a bit concerning.

Excellent service and above-and-beyond hospitality. The hostess at Vanilla Place helped us with transportation, activities, and even provided complimentary services. The strong water pressure in the shower was a great relief after a day at the elephant park. The delicious breakfast with fresh loaf breads, coffee, and dragon fruit added a delightful touch to our mornings. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of downtown, where I instantly felt at home. The second floor had a spacious lounge area, perfect for relaxing, and even offered free computer usage. The staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage after check-out. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had a pleasant aroma, creating a calming ambiance. Although there was some noise due to the central location, it was easily tolerable. Additionally, the rates were affordable, and I felt secure throughout my stay.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

For the price we paid, Vanilla Place was great value. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, with a homely feel. The location was superb, right next to a lively market and plenty of bars. But what truly stood out was the amazing staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and even looked after our bags for two days when we couldn't come back as planned. And oh, their fluffy dog was simply adorable!
The breakfast offerings could have been better.

The hotel is conveniently located near several small markets within walking distance, making it easy to explore and shop for local goods. Additionally, the hotel is right near the night bazaar, offering a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always willing to provide recommendations and assist with any needs. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, providing a great start to the day. the hotel offers a great location and excellent service.
One downside is that the WiFi was only working on the first day, which could be inconvenient for those needing to stay connected during their stay.
